Becky Nelson
Founder & Principal
Becky Nelson founded MaterniPress after recognizing a critical unmet need in postpartum care. With extensive experience leading the development of medical devices from concept through commercialization, she has worked across engineering, quality systems, regulatory strategy, project management, and product commercialization.
Throughout her career, Becky has partnered with startups and established medical device companies to transform innovative ideas into safe, effective products. Her experience spans the entire product development lifecycle, including design controls, risk management, verification and validation, manufacturing transfer, and strategic business planning.
At MaterniPress, Becky leads the company's vision, product strategy, fundraising efforts, and execution, working closely with advisors, clinicians and industry experts to bring innovative maternal health technologies to patients and providers.
